Patrick Hamm

PRODUCER

Patrick Hamm is an independent producer based between New York City and Berlin. He develops and produces ambitious films, with a primary focus on documentary, and works closely with directors making their first and second features.

Select producing credits include Dear Lara (2026; Santa Barbara International Film Festival), Who I Am Not (2023; SXSW, CPH:DOX), This Rain Will Never Stop (2020; IDFA, True/False), and Freedom For The Wolf (2017; Slamdance, IDFA).

An alumnus of Berlinale Talents and EURODOC, Patrick holds a B.A. in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University.

He serves as Co-Captain of Documentary Features Programming at Slamdance, is a News & Documentary Emmy Awards judge, and sits on the jury of the Cinema for Peace Academy.

Patrick is a member of the Producers Guild of America, Documentary Producers Alliance, International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers, Global Impact Producers Alliance, DAE, and AG DOK.
